After-school programs
I meet students at their school site right after the bell. They have a snack, then dive into an art lesson. 6 weeks sessions run mid-September to mid-June, with up to 16 students per class.
For families and schools →When school is out, art is in.
I bring fresh, hands-on art lessons to elementary schools across Humboldt County right after the bell, and teach small classes at my home studio in Eureka. Real materials, real techniques, and art your child is proud to bring home.

Two ways to make art with me

For families and schools →Looking for something a little quieter? Small classes and private lessons at my home studio in Eureka, including clay that I fire in the kiln and glaze.

What we work with
Kind words
“Whenever my girls come, they learn a new technique and they create stunning fabulous artwork I did not know they were capable of. I've ended up with framable artwork that I have displayed in my home and you can see their growth and their development as artists over the years. I think that we are really lucky to have Ms. Arias guiding them because she helps them challenge their own idea of what they can do and they discover that their limits are not what they thought.”

Clay at the studio
In the studio, kids build their pieces by hand, and I fire them in the kiln and glaze them, so they come home finished and ready to use or display.
